Vallgornera

Residential Design, Interior Design, FF&E, Landscape Concept

Junio, 2026

Mallorca, Spain

Commissioned by the project's architects, Vallgornera House is a conceptual design study exploring a quieter vision of Mediterranean living, where architecture becomes a natural extension of the landscape rather than an object within it. Rather than designing individual rooms or objects, the work establishes an overall vision that aligns architecture, interiors and landscape into one coherent narrative, defining the project's atmosphere, materiality and spatial character.

The project is guided by simplicity—not as an aesthetic, but as a way of living. Spaces unfold with clarity and ease, shaped by natural light, carefully balanced proportions and an honest palette of enduring materials. Rather than competing with its surroundings, the house is designed to belong to them, allowing gardens, courtyards and distant views to become part of everyday life.

Every decision seeks to create a sense of calm. Interiors remain understated yet tactile, where lime plaster, natural stone and warm timber gain character over time. The boundaries between inside and outside dissolve, encouraging a slower rhythm of living defined by changing light, seasonal landscapes and moments shared with family and friends.

Vallgornera House is not conceived around trends or visual statements. It is an exploration of permanence—of architecture that feels timeless, grounded and quietly generous, creating a home that grows more meaningful with every passing year.

Designed by SUŌ, a Mallorca-based interior design studio specialising in hospitality and residential design across the Mediterranean.
