Son Velvet

Son Velvet is a visionary hospitality destination exploring a quieter, more intentional way of experiencing the Mediterranean.

Conceived as an intimate destination rather than a conventional hotel, it brings together architecture, interior design, landscape, gastronomy and music into a seamless sequence of experiences. Without becoming nostalgic, the project quietly draws inspiration from the optimism, craftsmanship and musical spirit of the late 1960s and 1970s, reinterpreting these qualities through a distinctly contemporary Mediterranean design language. Here, music is not simply entertainment but an integral layer of the architecture, shaping atmosphere, rhythm and human connection through intentional listening.

Spaces flow effortlessly between indoors and outdoors, encouraging gathering as naturally as solitude. Honest materials, native landscapes and timeless craftsmanship create an atmosphere that is warm, tactile and deeply connected to its surroundings. From mornings beneath the olive trees to evenings defined by conversation, firelight and carefully curated sound, every moment is designed to celebrate the art of living well. More than a place to stay, Son Velvet is an exploration of how thoughtful hospitality and interior design can shape atmosphere, memory and human connection.
